Students at Belmont share their first Hydroponic harvest with families
NY Sun Works gathered with school leaders, teachers, parents and students at Belmont Preparatory High School in the Bronx to celebrate the first harvest from their new Hydroponic Classroom. The afternoon began with a ribbon cutting ceremony, before students harvested and prepared their freshly grown produce to serve during a community Dinner.
Chancellor Kamar Samuels visits our Campus!
Our Campus hosted the new chancellor of NYC DOE, Kamar Samuels, on Saturday March 28th as part of his Conversations with the Chancellor's tour.
Belmont Student Government Leaders represented Belmont with incredible pride & poise. They shared their perspectives in focus groups and were selected to share with the chancellor and the attending crowd.

Belmont Senior Gabriel Aquino ranks #2 city wide, in the High Jump
Belmont senior, Gabriel Aquino competed in the High Jump and delivered an exceptional performance, earning a ranking of #2 in New York City. As a result of his outstanding achievement, he has officially qualified for the State Championship.
